Ian Spencer
Ian Spencer started as a Shepherds Walks volunteer in late 2010. His enthusiasms for the outdoors are always clear to see and he worked closely with Richard Holmes on the series of day walks along the complete length of the Hadrian’s Wall Trail in 2011. Ian will certainly bring the walks to life for the participants and with an attention to detail you are in for a good guided walk with him.

I am by nature an enthusiastic teacher and I have been guiding groups of all ages for 30 years. My aim as a guide for Shepherd’s Walks is to share my passion for the outdoors and to tailor the experience of individuals within a group so that they get the maximum benefit from their trip however long or short it may be.
