Kirk Yetholm (NT828282). Approach Kirk Yetholm from Town Yetholm direction. In the village of Kirk Yetholm park in the lay-by on your left, just before you reach the Border Hotel.
This walk rewards you with some stunning views from Venchen Hill of Town and Kirk Yetholm with the Bowmont Water meandering it’s way between them. On a clear day, after very little climbing you are rewarded with spectacular views of the Cheviot Hills with the Cheviot itself standing taller than the rest.
You then drop down and follow the picturesque Halter burn for a short while before returning. The walk is good under foot, but strong shoes are recommended.
