walk notes

This lovely circular walk will take in both the coast and some lovely picturesque farmland inland.

After Meeting at the start of the walk we will head North up the Northumberland Coastline passing the famous Bath House as we head to to Craster

After craster we head inland and skirting around the edge of Howick Hall.

A great walk for Febuary.

After the walk why not go and have a look around Howick Hall and Gardens (admission prices would apply if you chose to do this). The formal gardens, including the herbaceous borders, are in front of the house and come into their own from June onwards. A Bog Garden has been developed, which is mostly planted with herbaceous material grown from seed collected in the wild, which will be of particular interest to dedicated plantsmen.

Howick Hall Gardens has been rated by the BBC Gardener's World Magazine as one of the top 5 coastal gardens in the country and rated the Independent Magazine as 'one of the Best 10 Gardens to visit this spring'.
