What is Nordic Walking? It is a gentle type of exercise, walking with poles and is suitable for all levels of fitness, espcially  those who are looking to get into gentle exercise for the first time. Training takes place by the flat, Rothbury riverside, no hills to climb. It has been specifically designed to provide you with an introduction to Nordic Walking and the many health benefits associated with it. 


This form of exercise can help you burn up to 46% more calories than walking without poles. And the best part is all you have to do is walk at your normal pace!


This training session is aimed at those new to Nordic Walking or those wanting to refresh their technique with a qualified instructor. 


Nordic walking poles provided free of charge. 


Nordic walking really is fun and once youíve tried it – youíll be hooked!
