Dilston Mill

Dilston Mill

Dilston Mill, a unique ‘self-serve’ B&B in a converted historic watermill on the banks of Devils Water in Northumberland. This unspoiled and uncrowded area is one of England's best kept secrets and the Mill has been a witness to its dramatic and colourful history back to the Middle Ages with links further back to Roman and Anglo-Saxon times.

Dilston Mill now offers the Private Suite (2 to 4 persons) and the Studio (2 perons), each with their own entrance and stocked with coffee, teas, fresh fruit and biscuits.  Breakfasts are generous 'self-serve' or cooked by arrangement.  The Studio is on the ground floor for easy access.

It is only one mile from Corbridge and two from Hexham. These charming and historic towns with Roman remains and ancient churches also offer excellent dining and other amenities, including a theatre, cinema, swimming pool and country park.

Dilston Mill is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty with a rich heritage from the Romans of Hadrian’s Wall to medieval castles, bastles and pele towers of the untamed 17th century Reivers and classic country houses and gardens.
