I bought this from Shepherds Walks a week ago (3/9/16) in the middle of a huge fundraising event all weekend ,I couldn't look at it till the Monday and did some amazing online tutoral/video courses that got me going. By Thurs I had time to look at Base camp despite having installed it a few days earlier. It seemed straightforward, as did the Shep walk info supplied, so i made up a trail and used it on the Friday in the Peaks. All I can say is this unit is brilliant, 34 yrs of hiking and i love it and I know I have barely scratched the surface (metaphorically!) yes I still have my maps but as someone who is a self confessed dunderhead with a compass despite being fine with maps, I decided this was just what I needed
