Walk 106 - Minto Hills
Even though the summit of Minto hill stands at just 912 feet above sea level you are treated to some of the most spectacular views of the Border region. One of the great walks in the Scottish Borders.

This lovely walk starts at the village of Denholm, before passing over the River Teviot, a tributary of the River Tweed, as you head into unspoilt countryside.
You then gradually climb up through Minto village passing the church, which was built in the Gothic style in 1830 before climbing up the spectacular Minto Hill.
Even though the summit of Minto hill stands at just 912 feet above sea level you are treated to some of the most spectacular views of the Border region.
On your return journey you follow the route of an old railway line.
The walk is good underfoot, but strong shoes are recommended.
