This lovely short woodland walk passes through Bowmont Forest and treats you to some quite spectacular views of both the Scottish Borders and the Cheviot Hills.
Because of a number of feed hoppers sited throughout the forest to encourage the endangered red squirrels to feed, the possibility of spotting one is greatly increased. This complements the deer and broad spectrum of bird life that can also be seen.
The walk involves very little climbing and is good underfoot, so is ideal for all ages and suitable for all-terrain prams.
