walk notes

After meeting at the Wedder Leap car park there will be a short transfer up the valley to Chew Green.

The source of the Coquet is just above Chew Green the famous Roman camp. From here the route follows the Roam road to Brownheart Law before following the Border Country Ride to Bindburn.

From here you will be guided past Carlcroft to Hindsight Knowe to Windyhaugh and down to Barrowburn for a well deserved cup of tea.

A stunning area of Northumberland and a brilliant place to start the walk
