Northumberland Day 2017
Mon 3rd April 2017
Plans for the inaugural Northumberland Day on May 28 are gathering pace, as organisers continue to stage meetings across the county and spread the word via social media.
The day will celebrate Northumberland's culture, heritage, sport, arts and crafts, landscape, enterprise and communities, at a grass-roots level, in such a way as to instil passion in Northumbria's towns, cities and villages and drive economic benefit for the community.
Here at Shepherds Walks we have a guided walk planned to the highest point of Northumberland, The Cheviot, planned for the day. On the summit we will fly the Northumberland flag with pride.
You can find out more about the walk here.
